Mr Killen was appointed Group Managing Director, National Mutual Holdings/Chief Executive Officer,Australia and New Zealand/ in November 1998.

He was formerly Chief Executive Officer for the Group in Australia & New Zealand. Mr Killen is a member of the Executive Committee of the AXA Global Group. He is a director of National Mutual Life, National Mutual Asia and a number of other bsidiaries within the Group. He is also a director of AXA Life Insurance Co, Japan He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Mr.Killen holds a Diploma of the Australian Insurance Institute, is Past President, WA Insurance Institute and is an alumnus of Sloan School of Management,MIT Boston, Mass. He is a director of the Australian Insurance Institute, the St. Vincent,s Hospital Group (Melbourne), and Family Business Australia.
