Rodney Lester is an adviser in the Banking and Financial Institutions Department at the World Bank.He has previously been Managing Director for AMP General Insurance Ltd and Division Head (General Insurance) world wide for the AMP Society.

He was also Managing Director for Australian Eagle Insurance Co Ltd, a Life/ General/Investment composite and a subsidiary of BAT through Eagle Star. Prior to this he was Managing Director for Lumley Corparation, a holding company investing in insurance undewriting and broking operations and retail investment businesses.
