Roger Steel gained his Master of Business Administration in 1991, studying at INSEAD in France and having previously completed a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in computer science and statistics at Sydney University. Roger joined Trowbridge Consulting in 1998 and has specialised in providing strategic and high-level valuation advice to life insurers, financial services companies and related bodies. He has worked in the insurance industry for eighteen years in a range of roles covering general management, marketing and strategy, information technology, customer service and project management.

Roger has advised on several merger and acquisition transactions, determining and implementing business strategy and many other major projects. Roger has a particular speciality in assessing the risk profile associated with markets, businesses and transactions. Prior to joining Trowbridge, he worked with the AMP group for sixteen years, working across four countries and in a wide variety of roles. Roger has overall responsibility for Trowbridge Consulting's rapidly growing Asian financial services practice. He is based between Trowbridge's various Asian offices, travelling frequently to most of the principal cities of the region.
