There are some readings,
called the Pre-Readings, which we suggest are read prior to arrival
at the Training Program. This suggestion is made to provide participants
an opportunity to familiarise themselves with some topics and issues
that will be addressed during the Training Program, and to stimulate
initial reactions. There are three such Pre-Readings:

Core Principles of Life Insurance Regulation;
Regulatory Principles
for Private Pensions, as agreed at the MRC Symposium in Beijing
in November 2001; and
Perspectives and Issues in Prudential
Regulation and Supervision and its Enforcement, a paper presented
at the MRC Symposium in Manila in November 2000.
